Going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a good adventure, and if you're looking for a splendid spree, Saint Croix National Scenic River is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Butternut Creek is close to Gabrielson Lake and is always a diversion to take a look at; in case you don’t have       a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Gabrielson Lake. There are other places here than Gabrielson Lake, for example Alabama Lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Atlas Feed Mill Mill Dam. Trollhaugen has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a nice campground here. After a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is                  a great place to spend a night or two, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Wild Mountain. During the summertime months highs here at Gabrielson Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Gabrielson Lake.
