Funk Lake in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and playing golf is lots of fun at Parkway Golf Course. For the period of the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Funk Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Funk       Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Thunder River is a brilliant whitewater spot right next door to Funk Lake; a journey to Marl Bay is always a perfect idea. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Marty and June Katzka, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River. From a precipitation point of view Funk Lake is a quite typical place; most of the rain falls                  during September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
