Fulton Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Don't leave Fulton Pond without first going for a hike along the Grottos Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Long Lake. Take a side journey to Hinkson Creek, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Madison for sure. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Fulton Pond. | | do that; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Devils Head. For the period of the warm months here at Fulton Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Fulton Pond through the winter typically fall into the 0's. a while, Sky High Camping Resort II is a great site for that, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Portage is a great choice. A glorious nearby hotel is Portage - Days Inn; unsurprisingly, this is a good neighborhood for
folks who like lakes, Lake Columbia is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Cascade Mountain in the neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the East Bluff Woods Trail. Don't miss out on a tour
to Ice Age National Scenic Trail since you're here at Fulton Pond. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Fulton Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
Good hiking is available along the East Bluff Trail, and no need to travel far to visit interesting stuff like Whites Bluff.
