Camping at Marty and June Katzka is always a magnificent experience, and a lake nearby is Yankee Lake. Frog Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is September; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Peshtigo River, and camping is available       at Thunder Lake Lodge. Frog Lake is not the only place nearby, Bullhead Lake is a nearby lake, and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a great site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Frog Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Frog Lake plunge into the 0's.
