This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake Marina is a delightful local campground, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Friendship Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Friendship Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. If the weather is great       here at Friendship Lake, you can go for a hike along the Tamarack View Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a wonderful place to camp. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Root River; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a good choice. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Friendship Lake. Friendship Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Pike River is a great whitewater spot near Friendship Lake; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Brighton Dale Golf Course.
