If you are in Bayfield county it's always a good idea to stop by Friedbauer Lake. Friedbauer Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Friedbauer Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Gogebic Range is so good! A lake close by is Cranberry Lake, and a tremendous place to camp here at Friedbauer Lake is Boulder Lodge Resort.

The Virgin Pine Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to Friedbauer Lake, and Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is a splendid golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Friedbauer Lake, you can go for a hike along the North Country
Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Gogebic Range. After a long day outdoors North Haven Country Cottage is a great
spot to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Marengo River offers some good whitewater. Friedbauer Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain while
February is usually the driest month.
All through the months of summer here at Friedbauer Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Friedbauer Lake are in the-10's.
