What a nice lake French Lake is. So many fun things to do at French Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Baldwin, Wi. French Creek flows through this vicinity; if you came to camp Apple River Campgrounds North is a perfect place to do that. High temperatures at French Lake throughout the warm months are in the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and

| | after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at French Lake dip into the-10's.
The annual rain here at French Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at French Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Port Valhalla Campground is a nice place for that, and there's whitewater on Apple River for all you adrenaline kick people. | |
