Archibald Tower Springs is a tremendous lake near French Lake; a good close by hotel is Best Western Lakewood Lodge. Summertime highs at French Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to French Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at French Lake. Willowbreeze       Lakefront Cottage is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at French Lake is Maple Heights Campground; French Lake is right by the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. From a precipitation point of view French Lake is a reasonably common site; September is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest.
