The Anvil Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best, and a wonderful lake like Butternut Lake is a fine location to pop by. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Franklin Lake; Kimball Creek Trail is a nice local trail; Wild Eagle Lodge is a splendid place to get some rest. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Franklin Lake; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month       with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Franklin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kentuck Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Franklin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Luna-White Deer Campground. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Franklin Lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Franklin Lake highs are usually in the 70's with overnight                  lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Franklin Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
