So many fun things in the Gogebic Range, just inspiring. Nearby lakes? Sure, Chaney Lake is in the vicinity of Fox Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Through the long summer days highs here at Fox Lake get into the 70's; the overnight is fairly cooler of       course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Fox Lake descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's always McFadyen Dam to have a look at close to Fox Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bluffs Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling right next door to Fox Lake is Planter Creek, and why not head up to Big Powderhorn                  Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Camping at Fox Lake is delightful fun, Henry Lake Campground is a delightful local campground, and Indianhead Motel is a great location to get some rest. Fox Lake gets a typical amount of rain; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Presque Isle Campground is a splendid campground here, and don't forget to take a fine little spree to No Mans Creek. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Gogebic Range.
