From a rainfall point of view Lake Four is a quite normal place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. There are some nice whitewater spots on Chippewa River, and do take a hike on the Deer Fly Trail. All through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lake Four.       When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Lake Four overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. Be careful coming to Lake Four, you might not ever want to return home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Duncan Creek, and if you came to camp Lured In Lodge & Campground is a perfect place                  to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glen Loch Motel is a good choice, and camping at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is always a pleasant experience. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Four; O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Lake Four is not the only site close by, Lake Two is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Four you will meet lots of people from close by Eau Claire, and you can hit the slopes at Christie Mountain in the vicinity.
