Near Foster Lake you locate the Hay Meadow Trail which is a great hiking trail, and there are plenty of people from Eau Claire here at Foster Lake. Why not camp at Northshore Bar and Campground since you're here at Foster Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Hickory Ridge Trail.
