It's always fun to stop by Foss Lake. Summertime highs at Foss Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Foss Lake. Stay the night at Kathryn Lake Campground, and float down the rapids of Yellow River in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Foss Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chippewa Campground, and the Ice Age Trail offers hiking at its best. Foss Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Medford, Wi; Americinn - Thorp, Wi is a delightful spot to get some rest. | |
