Foss Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. From a rain point of view Foss Lake is a pretty typical spot; through August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the warm months at Foss Lake highs are generally in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Eska Lake near Foss Lake; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jump River - South Fork.
