CROIX VALLEY is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Forsythe Lake? Bullhead Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on St. Croix River, and dry warm beds await you at Luck Country Inn. Forsythe Lake is not the only place nearby, Freedom Lakes is a nearby lake;       you can go for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Forsythe Lake has it all. Stay the night at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds, and everyone close by loves skiing at Wild Mountain. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Forsythe Lake has to offer, you can camp at James N Mcnally Campground; Saint Croix National Scenic River is a great local destination. If you're interested                  in hydro structures, you can stop at Atlas Feed Mill Mill Dam; enjoy a round of golf at Frederic Golf Course. Through the months of summer highs here at Forsythe Lake reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Forsythe Lake.
