All through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Forsythe Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Camping at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience; the scenery at Atlas Feed Mill Mill Dam is gorgeous. Forsythe Lake is not the only site close by, Freedom Lakes is a close by lake, and the slopes of Wild Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Visiting Saint Croix National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is                  a wonderful hiking trail close by. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a fine choice, and camping is available at James N Mcnally Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Forsythe Lake and you like golf, you can check out Frederic Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on St. Croix River for all you adrenaline people, and hey, Gotta ski right? Trollhaugen is a fine place to do that.
