Camping is available at Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Mud Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Forest Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently September, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Take a hike on the Lauterman Trail; if you need a place to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a nice choice.
