There are some great whitewater spots on Chippewa River - East Fork; do take a look at Mukwonago Lake, it's a striking lake. The amount of rainfall that falls at Foo Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Foo Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one       day, Boulder Lodge Resort is a tremendous place to camp nearby. A good close by hotel is Comfort Suites Hayward, and an afternoon playing golf at Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River - West Fork, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Foo Lake; Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is a good local trail. You clearly should have a thing about Foo Lake. A wonderful                  lake like Larson Lake right next door to Foo Lake is a wonderful location to check out, and Foo Lake is right by the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. All through the summertime months highs here at Foo Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
