A round of golf at nearby Butternut Hills Golf Course & Golf Learning Center is a splendid way to kill some time; there's glorious hiking along the Hardwood Trail. Camping at Dahle's Campground is always a magnificent experience; Bass Lake is a fine lake nearby. High temperatures at Floyd Lake through the summertime are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and       nighttime lows through the winter for Floyd Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Leesome Pine Campgrounds; if you need a spot to stay Rice Lake Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Floyd Lake has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Floyd Lake; Serley Camp Trail is a brilliant local trail. From a precipitation point of view Floyd Lake is a quite normal place;                  the month with most of the rain is August while February is ordinarily the driest month.
