The amount of rain that falls at Floyd Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Floyd Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime       at Floyd Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Don't leave Floyd Lake without first going for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail. There's so much to do here at Floyd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Herzl Camp is a magnificent site for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Voyager Village Country Club & Bar is close at hand, and a delightful nearby hotel is Country House Motel. And that's                  not all you can do here at Floyd Lake. Paddling on Lower Tamarack River is so much fun. There are other locations here than Floyd Lake, for example Eagle Lake; Lodge At Crooked Lake is a splendid location to get some rest.
