Robinson Creek
 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO Nice place. Peaceful and relaxing.... ...is recommended at Fall-Hall Road. If you'd like to see the F-H Glen, it is a 200yard paddle downstream around a bend to the glen. Secure permission to use the F-H Camp trails if you don't want to drag you boat back upstream. If you want to paddle Robinson Creek, a better put in is at the Old County Road I on the North side where there is a State Forest campsite near the ATV trails (permit req'd to camp)on the north side of the bridge. There were a couple of places to play in and, if waterflow was above average, runs that would challenge an intermediate paddler. My 13 yo son and I paddled and dragged our way to the Black River. After over a dozen log jams in the last two miles (and 2 hours) of creek, we camped on a sandbar 1/4 mile upstream of the Robinson Creek ... |
