Country Springs Hotel is a good site to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Little Switzerland close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Lake Five. Pewaukee River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Arrowhead Golf Course. Highlands of Olympia is a very popular ski area around       here, and why not camp at Camp Journal-boy Scouts-ameri if you're here at Lake Five. While you're here at Lake Five you will meet lots of people from nearby Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, and a delightful nearby hotel is Radisson Hotel Pewaukee. The warmest time of the year at Lake Five comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight                  here at Lake Five. Paddling on Menomonee River is so much fun; camping at Lake Five is perfect fun, Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground is a perfect local campground.
