The annual rainfall here at Lake Five is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Five, you could also stop at gorgeous Friess Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Little       Switzerland. This lake is so wonderful. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Stay the night at Timber Trail Camp Ground; a good nearby hotel is Radisson Hotel Milwaukee-Pewaukee. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Five has to offer, you can camp at Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Pewaukee River offers some great whitewater. High temperatures at Lake Five throughout the                  long summer days are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Five dip into the 0's. Do stop by Little Friess Lake near Lake Five, it's a stunning lake, and the snow is great at Highlands of Olympia.
