Lake Five is a good place of normal rain; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A good place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lake Five is Marengo River; Lake Five is a great place to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a great place to camp nearby. All       year is a magnificent time in the Gogebic Range if you fancy the outdoors. While you're here at Lake Five, you could also stop by scenic Muskie Springs Lake, and you can run the rapids of Marengo River. Take some time to check out Chequamegon National Forest since you're here, and going for a hike on the Black Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure. You'll locate a gorgeous lake called Dells Lake near Lake Five; don't leave Lake Five without first                  going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. During the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lake Five, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Lake Five nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Lake Five is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Holiday House is a great site to get some rest; there are wonderful sites to look at along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Gogebic Range.
