Kettle Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River. This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Fly Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Fishpole Lake, and Fishpole Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a magnificent local       campground. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi, and if you get bored of Fishpole Lake you could also explore nearby Rat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Northshore Bar and Campground is always a great experience. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If the weather is great here at Fishpole Lake, you can go for a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek                  offers some splendid whitewater.
