Why not camp at Cedar Hills Campground since you're here at Fishers Lake, and if you're visiting from Baraboo, you won't be the only one. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Mound State Park is a splendid place to camp, and some interesting geology is available here, Ferry Bluff is right here. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the West Bluff Trail, and the best way to spend a winter       day is on the slopes of close by Devils Head. While you're here at Fishers Lake you can take a hike along the Grottos Trail; don't forget to take a fine little journey to Dunlap Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Tyrol Basin around here; Cedarberry Inn is a good site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Karakahl Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Skillet Creek. During                  the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Fishers Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Fishers Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Have a good hiking adventure along the Bluff Trail. Fishers Lake gets a normal amount of rain; September is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Fishers Lake has to offer.
