An average amount of rain falls at Fish Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Fish Lake is a place with many visitors from Madison, and if you've had enough of Fish Lake, Alder Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Crystal Lake Campground is a good spot to camp, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t       go skiing at Tyrol Basin since you're here. What would winter be without some skiing at Devils Head, and don't leave Fish Lake without first going for a hike along the East Bluff Woods Trail. The vistas at Ice Age National Scenic Trail will blow your mind. Paddling on Baraboo River is so much fun, of course you could also take a look at Mud Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Fish Lake during the warm days of summer are in                  the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Fish Lake through the winter generally plunge into the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Fish Lake. There's tremendous hiking along the East Bluff Trail, and after a long day outdoors Cedarberry Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Wisconsin River, and Snuffy's Campsite is a nice local campground.
