A trip to Saint Croix National Scenic River is worthwhile; a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Kettle River. And that's not all you can do here at Fish Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Hinckley, and why not camp at Sandrock Cliff Campground since you're here at Fish Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Trollhaugen is close to Fish Lake. This lake is so wonderful.       On a tremendous day at Fish Lake you can take a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River. Fish Lake gets a normal amount of rain; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The snow is fine at Wild Mountain; if you came for an overnight stay James N Mcnally Campground is a great                  place to camp. There's some flowing water nearby, Wood River is a stream you can go to while here, and enjoy a round of golf at Golf Course. There is a great hiking trail next to Fish Lake called the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and after a long day outdoors Hinckley-Days Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Fish Lake; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's.
