Timberline Resort and Campground is a glorious campground here, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River. The yearly precipitation here at First Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. Camping at First Lake is good fun, Marty and June Katzka is a good local campground. Lakes are glorious; Jocko Lake       is a lake that's right next door to First Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at First Lake reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for First Lake. Having a glorious time at First Lake is trouble-free. You're sure to come across some nice people from Green Bay here, and Thunder River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. This lake                  is so wonderful.
