    In Wisconsin there are many beautiful lakes, First Black Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Drinkwine Creek is close to First Black Lake and is always a delight to go to. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to First Black Lake will keep you coming back persistently. You can run the rapids of Flambeau River - North Fork close to First Black Lake; you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain. From a rain point of view  
   First Black Lake is a pretty common spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Summertime highs at First Black Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to First Black Lake. Hurley Days Inn is a great location to get some rest, and why not camp at Big
 
               6 RV Resort and Campground since you're here at First Black Lake. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Cloverland Motel is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and obviously, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Altman Lake is a lake around here.
There's whitewater on Turtle River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Lake of the Falls Dam is pretty. If you came for an overnight stay Smith River Campground is a perfect spot to camp, and an afternoon playing golf at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Whitecap Mountain is one of those things you just should do; while you're here you can take a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
