This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Finley Lake; Hay Meadow Trail is a brilliant local trail. There's so much to do here at Finley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brunet Island State Park is a magnificent location for that. This lake is so       wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Christie Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Duncan Creek. Summer at Finley Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Finley Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Nearby lakes? Sure, Parker Lake is in the vicinity of Finley Lake, and drift down the rapids                  of Chippewa River in a kayak. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Finley Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Finley Lake is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail, and Glen Loch Motel is a nice place to get some rest. What a spot this is for outdoors people. There are plenty of folks from Eau Claire here at Finley Lake, and why not stop at Kalepp G4711 Dam if you're here.
