So much exciting stuff next to Filing Shed Lake, simply incredible. Near Filing Shed Lake you hit upon a golf course called Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River - West Fork offers some wonderful       whitewater; if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a nice choice. There are other places here than Filing Shed Lake, for example Eagle Nest Lake; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Marengo River, and Filing Shed Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a delightful                  spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Filing Shed Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Filing Shed Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's; night lows in the-10's for Filing Shed Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
