Fierek Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Fierek Lake through the summer are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down       to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Fierek Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River - South Fork offers some splendid whitewater; camping at Fierek Lake is fine fun, Fishtrap Campground is a fine local campground. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a nice site to                  spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Powderhorn Mountain is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Americinn Motel, of course you could also take a look at Brandt Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Turtle River; the snow is pleasant at Whitecap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
