Turtle River is a great whitewater spot next to Fawn Lake, and a tremendous close by hotel is Americinn - Ironwood, Mi. Summertime highs at Fawn Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 10's while Fawn Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. Not far from Fawn Lake,       you'll find Boot Lake which is a lovely lake, and if you need a place to stay Hurley Days Inn is a fine choice. Going for a hike on the Newman Springs Ski Trail is always a great adventure, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Flambeau River - South Fork. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Fawn Lake; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. If you want a glorious                  time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fawn Lake. A glorious location to camp here at Fawn Lake is Fishtrap Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
