This lake is so wonderful. A splendid spot to camp here at Fat Lake is Broken Bow Campgrounds, and there are some good whitewater spots on Turtle River. Summertime highs at Fat Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the       10's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Fat Lake fall into the-10's. While you're here at Fat Lake you can take a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and Fat Lake is not the only site nearby, Grey Lake is a nearby lake. Fat Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Council is a perfect local campground, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a delightful place to spend                  a night or two. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Fat Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - South Fork, and if you've had enough of Fat Lake, Doud Lake is nearby.
