Float down the rapids of Flambeau River - South Fork in a kayak, and skiing at Whitecap Mountain is one of those things you just should do. During the summer here at Lake of the Falls, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake of the Falls tend to be in the-10's.
