     First Black Lake is a magnificent lake near Lake of the Falls; Comfort Inn Ironwood is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Flambeau River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot near Lake of the Falls, and camping at Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is always a brilliant experience. The slopes of Whitecap Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and Lake of the Falls Dam has pleasant water scenery. Gotta ski! Big Powderhorn Mountain is a splendid  
   place to do that, and delightful hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
A typical amount of rain falls here at Lake of the Falls; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime at Lake of the Falls arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures
 
               at Lake of the Falls dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Lake of the Falls. Why not have a look at close by Dollar Creek if you're here at Lake of the Falls, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Hurley is a magnificent choice.
This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Lake of the Falls is Tahoe Lynx Golf Course, and a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Turtle River. Lake of the Falls is great enough to spend more than a day at, Double E Resort is a great local campground. Lakes? Sure, Lake of the Falls 139 is around here.
