The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Evelyn is close to the national average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Throughout the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Evelyn while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and night lows at Lake Evelyn all through       the winter commonly descend into the-10's. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Grove Resort is a wonderful site to camp; Apple River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Lake Evelyn has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Luck Country Inn, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Straight River. Camping at Lake Evelyn is glorious fun,                  Apple River Campgrounds North is a glorious local campground, and needless to say, this is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes, Bass Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
