Lake Evelyn is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. At Lake Evelyn all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Lake Evelyn. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Evelyn; Rainbow Falls Trail is a fine local trail, and Turtle River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.

The slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. An average amount of rain falls at Lake Evelyn; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.
