Evelyn Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Spot Lake is a good lake near Evelyn Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Chippewa River - West Fork. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Hiking along the North Country Trail is tremendous fun; there's whitewater on Marengo River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic

If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic Range. If you came to camp Chippewa River Campground is a great location to do that, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Black Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Evelyn Lake generally tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Lake tend to be in the-10's. What a place this is for outdoors people. A round of golf at nearby Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and camping at Boulder Lodge Resort is always a great
experience.
This lake is so wonderful. From a rain point of view Evelyn Lake is a reasonably typical place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. If you need a place
to stay Best Western Holiday House is a wonderful choice, and hey, East Fork Ghost Creek is a splendid local stream.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Grant Lake is nearby, and do take a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail.
