If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wisconsin you can check out Evans Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Paradise Shores Resort Hotel, and Christie Mountain is a good local ski area. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Chippewa River, and a lake nearby is Beaver Lake. On a great day at Evans Lake you can take a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail; if you need a spot to stay Glen Loch Motel is a splendid choice.

much to do here at Evans Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northshore Bar and Campground is a tremendous place for that.
Evans Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August;
the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Evans Lake get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Evans Lake tend to be in the 0's.
