The amount of precipitation that falls at Eureka Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. A lake nearby is Lake Galilee, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Whitecap Mountain is pretty near. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Some of the water nearby flows, like Ballou Creek. Be careful coming       to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Don't leave Eureka Lake without first going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and camping at Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is always a great experience. If you get bored of Eureka Lake, you could also pop by close by Twin Lakes; if you need a place to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a good choice. Eureka Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful.                  A good spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Eureka Lake is Bad River, and a wonderful place to camp here at Eureka Lake is Butternut Lake Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Eureka Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
