At Lake Ethel through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Lake Ethel tend to be in the-10's. If you came for an overnight stay Rolling Stone Lake Resort is a great location to camp, and getting to Squaw Creek from Lake Ethel is easy. If the weather       is good here at Lake Ethel, you can go for a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and you can run the rapids of Wolf River. After a long day outdoors Days Inn of Antigo is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Joy Harbor Campground                  is a great local campground. So much amusing stuff close to Lake Ethel, definitely tremendous.
