Camping at Eska Lake is fine fun, Kathryn Lake Campground is a fine local campground; Jump River - South Fork is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Eska Lake. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellow River; Eska Lake is a wonderful site to camp, Chippewa Campground is a wonderful site. The amount of       rain that falls at Eska Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Good hiking is available along the Ice Age Trail, and if you need a site to stay Americinn - Medford, Wi is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Eska Lake, you could also have a look at lovely Anderson Lake, and after a long day outdoors Americinn                  - Thorp, Wi is a fine spot to spend a night or two. All through the summer at Eska Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
