A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Erickson Flowage; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. On a brilliant day at Erickson Flowage you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kettle River. Swamps like Upper Hay Creek Flowage are fun to take       a look at, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Camping at James N Mcnally Campground is always a great experience, and skiing at Wild Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. Crex Meadows Phantom Lake Development Dam is worth checking out while you're here, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Golf Course. Get covered with water paddling on St.                  Croix River, and Luck Country Inn is a good place to get some rest. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Erickson Flowage. A nice location to camp here at Erickson Flowage is Sandrock Cliff Campground, and after a long day outdoors Hinckley-Days Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Through the months of summer highs here at Erickson Flowage reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's with temperatures at Erickson Flowage dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
