During the months of summer highs here at Engleman Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Engleman Lake through the winter generally drop       into the 0's. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Pike River, and if you need a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a perfect choice. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Engleman Lake. If you're here at Engleman Lake and you like golf, you can explore Woodland Ridge Golf Course. From a precipitation point of view Engleman Lake is a rather normal site; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the                  driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; Finnegan Lake is a lake that's next to Engleman Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Pike River - South Branch offers some fine whitewater.
