The annual precipitation here at Emmons Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Hartman Creek Number One Dam since you're here; Emmons Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Young Judea is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Foxfire Golf Club                  is a nice way to kill some time. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Marl Lake is one of those close by, and swamps like Shung-we Creek next to Emmons Lake make for brilliant spots to pop by. There's whitewater on Little Wolf River for all you adrenaline junkies; camping at Hartman Creek State Park is always a fine experience.
