Emily Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pine River. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Eagle Park and Campground is a splendid campground here, and Keyes Lake is a fine lake close by.

For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
