This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Black River in a kayak, and Humbird Dam is a striking location. And that's not all you can do here at Emerson Lake. A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BLACK RIVER FALLS. There's so much to do here       at Emerson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bunkhouse Retreat Atv Park is a pleasant place for that. Humbird Bluff is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Emerson Lake; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Silver Mound Trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at Emerson Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least                  moisture. The warmest time of the year at Emerson Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Emerson Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Halls Creek is so much fun; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail.
