Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a good site to get some rest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain, and gorgeous scenery and tremendous skiing is what you acquire at Norway Mountain. Ellwood Lake is a good location of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year       is February. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Ellwood Lake get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ellwood Lake. A nice place to camp here at Ellwood Lake is Iron Mountain Campgrounds, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brule River. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Iron Mountain come to Ellwood Lake, and since                  you're here you can play some golf at Eagle Mountain Golf Course. Getting to Lepage Creek from Ellwood Lake is trouble-free, and there are some great whitewater spots on Pine River.
