Chippewa River is a nice whitewater spot close to Elk Creek Lake 80, and let's not forget Elk Creek which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. All through the days of summer here at Elk Creek Lake 80, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Elk Creek Lake 80 overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are                  in the 0's.
