Why not stop by Eds Lake if you're passing through these parts. At Eds Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Eds Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf River, and if you came to camp Richardson Lake Campground is a good location to do that.

Eds Lake is a good site of typical rain; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest of the months is February. Going for a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; after a long day outdoors Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two.
