An average amount of precipitation falls at Echo Lake; most of the rain falls through July, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Wilmot mountain, and going for a hike on the Tamarack View Trail is always a nice adventure. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Echo Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. An afternoon playing golf at Brown's Lake       Golf Course is always a joy, and dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford. Echo Lake is not the only place close by, Leda Lake is a close by lake, and Echo Lake is not far at all from Whitewater. Through the summertime at Echo Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Echo Lake are in the 0's.                  Honey Creek is a pleasant site to take a look at, and if you come at the right time of year, White River offers some great whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pewaukee River; there are great locations to explore along the Leather Leaf Bog Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Meadowlark Acres Family Campground is a tremendous local campground, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Echo Lake is peerless! A lake nearby is Echo Lake 284, and hey, Gotta ski right? Alpine Valley is a fine place to do that.
