Echo Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Alpine Valley, and if you came for an overnight stay Sun Ray Hills is a perfect spot to camp. For the period of the days of summer at Echo Lake highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows       are regularly in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Echo Lake tend to be in the 0's. Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford is a good place to get some rest, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Honey Creek. You completely must love Echo Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on White River; Wilmot mountain is a wonderful local ski area. After a long day outdoors                  Sleep Inn Mukwonago is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Brown's Lake Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Echo Lake you can take a hike along the Leather Leaf Bog Trail, and hiking along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is magnificent fun. If you're visiting Echo Lake from Whitewater, you won't be the only one, and there's whitewater on Pewaukee River for all you adrenaline junkies.
