Echo Lake is not the only site nearby, Echo Lake 284 is a nearby lake, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is White River. Echo Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is February. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. You'll       need more than a day to discover everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Country View Campground. Pewaukee River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Echo Lake. Summertime highs at Echo Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake                  is so wonderful. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is a good hiking trail close to Echo Lake, and why not take a little visit to Honey Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Brown's Lake Golf Course, and nearby you discover the Leather Leaf Bog Trail which is a great hiking trail. Hit the slopes at Wilmot mountain close at hand, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Whitewater here. There is a fine hiking trail near Echo Lake called the Tamarack View Trail. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Melody Park is a great place for that.
