Hobbs Lake is close at hand, and skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Kinder Lake is one of those close by. Near Echo Lake you locate a golf course called       Tahoe Lynx Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a splendid place to spend a night or two. The Newman Springs Ski Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Echo Lake, and Echo Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Double E Resort is a fine local campground. From a rain point of view Echo Lake is a quite common place; during June this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures                  at Echo Lake during the warm months are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Echo Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Black River is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Echo Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ironwood. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Echo Lake.
